GERRINGONG PARK

Public BBQ

Werri Beach delivers one of the South Coast's most majestic coastal panoramas, a sweeping vista that justifies the two-hour drive from Parramatta. The golden sand stretches invitingly along a shoreline blessed with consistently decent surf breaks, while the surrounding headlands frame views that stop visitors mid-stride. The beach maintains a refreshingly laid-back atmosphere, rarely succumbing to the crushing crowds that plague Sydney's better-known coastal spots. Long walks along the soft sand remain blissfully uninterrupted, and the generous expanse provides ample territory for families to spread out without encroaching on neighbouring towels. The gentle ocean breeze that wafts across Gerringong's picturesque setting enhances rather than diminishes the experience, keeping conditions comfortable even under clear blue skies. It's the sort of place where doing absolutely nothing feels like achievement enough.
